Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ! God is blessing and we are growing. We have enjoyed the presence of God stronger and freer in all areas of our Church. We are a group of working people that are truly thankful for the unmerited favor God has extended to us. God has given us favor with our community and provided us with the resources to pursue our ministry goals and objectives. He has anointed us with a double portion of love and friendliness that is recognized by all that visit our services.

We have a vision given to us, from God, of ministering to the entire family with a special focus on children. We believe that the greatest time of positive spiritual development is the impressionable period of one's childhood. Someone will influence the young lives of our children and we want it to be a Spirit filled servant of God. We do realize the ministering to children cannot be done in a vacuum; therefore, the development of the complete family is the only way to effectively give the child a substantial spiritual foundation that will support her or him in the struggles of life.

If you are looking for an opportunity to serve God in an active and effective approach to Christian living, this is the Church you are looking for. I have found that the congregation comprising the Church of God at Southaven will gladly reach out to anyone that will allow them to in love and hospitality. I am very proud to be a part of such a good and godly fellowship of people.
