We are living under a system in America that allows our schools to teach our kids that harry potter is acceptable but wants to take God out of the pledge of allegiance. This causes confusion in our young people and it eats away at the moral fiber of our society.

We live in a land that teaches our kids whoever has the most "stuff" is successful and wins in life, but the problem with that is when we get all this "stuff", we just want more "stuff" until we don't have anywhere to "stuff" our "stuff". Now we have to find more and more room to "stuff" our "stuff". In the end we die, and no matter how much "stuff" we have, it is never enough to fill the huge void in our hearts. You see, "stuff" can never fill the unquenched thirst of our spirit, only God can. We teach students how to allow God to fill the void in their lives, and that is what they are so desperately in search of!

How will our youth know about the Lord, or believe he even exists unless they have experienced an encounter with an almighty God for themselves? What we do in the Family Life youth is disciple them in purity, integrity, and truth. We truly believe that the more our teens learn about the teachings of Jesus, the less vulnerable they'll be to the lies of the enemy. 1 Peter 5:8 (NLT) says, "Stay alert! Watch out for your great enemy, the devil. He prowls around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour." We believe God is fed up with watching our kids be devoured and so are we!

At Family Life, we have accepted the mandate from God to create an atmosphere of worship that is inviting for the Holy Spirit to come and fill our youth so they can begin the adventure God has for them!
